Split your goal into milestones. Each one pays out, then you upload the receipts before the next unlocks. Donors watch it happen, and your campaign carries a Verified Spend badge that makes the next person far more likely to give.
While money is still held, it is refundable in full — not capped at some number that only protects small donors.
